SSG Officers


EXECUTIVE BRANCH

The power of the Executive Department is vested in the CIT University SSG President, who also acts as the Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Department and shall exercise the executive power. The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the policies instituted by the Legislative Department and appoints the members of the Cabinet. The CIT University SSG Vice President is also part of the Executive Department and is ready to assume the Presidency should the need arise.

The Cabinet is responsible for the administration of student government activities and policies. The Commissions have their own responsibilities that specifically address to the needs of the student governance.

LEGISLATIVE BRANCH

The legislative power of the CIT University Supreme Student Government is vested in the unicameral Congress which shall be composed of representatives from the different regular certificate or degree-granting collegiate divisions of the University.
